Privacy policy
शेठजी works offline. We do not need your data: your book stays with you, on your phone. You are the boss of your data.
- Who: शेठजी is made by Advik Enterprises. You, the jeweller, decide what goes into the app and are responsible for your customers' information.
- What is stored: your shop details; customers (name, mobile, father's / husband's name, village, address, an ID — for Aadhaar only the last 4 digits, never the full number — a relative's or neighbour's contact number, and the customer's photo if you take one); firms (firm name, contact person, firm code); girvi accounts, payments and ornaments; photos you take of ornaments and notebook pages; your PIN, Transaction PIN and recovery code only as a scrambled check, never as they are.
- Where: only on this device, encrypted. After every entry an encrypted copy goes by itself to the backup folder you picked (Documents › Shethji), and to any pen drive or laptop you copy it to. Advik Enterprises can unlock a backup only when you ask, after losing both your backup password and recovery code, and after we confirm it is you. We never receive your data unless you send it.
- What we do not do: no account to sign up for, no server, no advertising, no tracking, no analytics. The app never sends your book or your customers' details to us or to anyone else.
- What we receive: nothing from the app itself. Google Play takes your subscription payment and tells us only what Google shares with every developer (an order number, the plan, the country); we never see your card or bank details. If you report a problem on WhatsApp, we see what you send (shop name, app version, the last steps on the app: never customer names, mobiles or amounts).
- Device permissions: camera (ornament, notebook and customer photos); fingerprint, if you switch it on; files only in the backup folder you pick with Android's folder picker. No internet permission: the app never goes online. Only the Google Play Store app on the phone handles the subscription. No microphone, location, contacts or SMS permission, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking.
- Your customers: take their consent before saving a photo, show them their own entries when they ask, correct mistakes, and delete what you no longer need.
- How long: everything stays until you delete it. Uninstalling or clearing the app removes it from the phone; backups stay wherever you saved them until you delete them.
- Payments: Shethji Pro is bought through Google Play, under Google's terms and privacy policy. Cancel or change it any time in Google Play › Subscriptions.
- The app is a business tool for adults (18+), not meant for children.

Terms & disclaimer
- शेठजी is a record-keeping tool. It is provided "as is", without any warranty.
- Interest, balances and reminders are worked out from the entries you make. Check them yourself before money or gold changes hands.
- Your girvi business, its licence, the interest you charge and following the law (for example the Maharashtra Money-Lending (Regulation) Act, 2014) are entirely your responsibility.
- The app does not give legal, financial or tax advice.
- Your data is yours. It stays only on your device (phone or tablet), encrypted; Advik Enterprises never receives it and has no access to it. You are the owner of your data and responsible for it: keeping the device, PIN, recovery code and backups safe is up to you. Only if you lose both your backup password and recovery code and ask us can we unlock a backup you send us, after confirming it is you.
- Advik Enterprises and शेठजी are not responsible for any loss arising from use of the app, wrong entries, data lost or deleted on the device (uninstall, "clear data", reset, a lost, stolen or damaged device, malware), or disputes with customers. In any case liability is limited to the subscription fee paid in the last 12 months.
- The customers' details and photos you keep in the app are yours to look after. Take their consent before saving a photo, show them their own entries when asked, and remove what you no longer need.
- Uninstalling the app, "clear data", a factory reset, a lost or broken device, or malware deletes the data on the device. Only a backup can bring it back: keep the automatic backup folder, and copy a backup to a pen drive or laptop every month. Data lost without a backup cannot be recovered by anyone.
- The app is free for the first 15 days. After that Shethji Pro, a Google Play subscription, is needed to keep adding and changing records. Google takes the payment and renews it until you cancel in Google Play; refunds follow Google Play's rules. Without a subscription your book stays readable (view only), and backup and restore keep working.
- The app is meant for jewellers' business records, by people of 18 years or more. It does not lend money, take deposits or offer loans to anyone.

- काय ठेवले जाते: तुमच्या दुकानाची माहिती; ग्राहक (नाव, मोबाईल, वडिलांचे / पतीचे नाव, गाव, पत्ता, ओळखपत्र — आधारचे फक्त शेवटचे 4 अंक, पूर्ण नंबर कधीच नाही — नातेवाईक / शेजाऱ्याचा संपर्क नंबर आणि तुम्ही घेतल्यास ग्राहकाचा फोटो); फर्म (फर्मचे नाव, संपर्क व्यक्ती, फर्म कोड); गिरवी खाती, भरणा आणि दागिने; तुम्ही घेतलेले दागिन्यांचे व वहीच्या पानांचे फोटो; तुमचा पिन, व्यवहार पिन आणि रिकव्हरी कोड फक्त गुंतागुंतीच्या तपासणीच्या रूपात, खरे कधीच नाहीत.

- किती काळ: तुम्ही काढेपर्यंत सर्व राहते. ॲप काढल्यास किंवा clear data केल्यास ते मोबाईलवरून जाते; बॅकअप तुम्ही ठेवलेल्या ठिकाणी तुम्ही काढेपर्यंत राहतात.

अटी व अस्वीकरण
- शेठजी हे नोंदी ठेवण्याचे साधन आहे. ते "जसे आहे तसे" दिले जाते; कोणतीही हमी नाही.

- सावकारी व्यवसाय, त्याचा परवाना, व्याजदर आणि कायद्याचे पालन (उदा. महाराष्ट्र सावकारी (नियमन) अधिनियम, 2014) ही पूर्णपणे तुमची जबाबदारी आहे.
- हे ॲप कायदेशीर, आर्थिक किंवा कर सल्ला देत नाही.

- ॲपमध्ये तुम्ही ठेवलेली ग्राहकांची माहिती व फोटो सांभाळण्याची जबाबदारी तुमची आहे. फोटो घेण्यापूर्वी ग्राहकाची संमती घ्या, मागितल्यास त्यांची नोंद दाखवा आणि गरज नसलेली माहिती काढून टाका.
- ॲप काढणे, "clear data", फॅक्टरी रीसेट, हरवलेले किंवा खराब डिव्हाइस किंवा व्हायरस यामुळे डिव्हाइसवरील डेटा पुसला जातो. फक्त बॅकअपच तो परत आणू शकतो: आपोआप बॅकअप फोल्डर ठेवा आणि दर महिन्याला बॅकअप पेन ड्राइव्ह किंवा लॅपटॉपवर कॉपी करा. बॅकअपशिवाय गेलेला डेटा कोणीही परत आणू शकत नाही.
- पहिले 15 दिवस ॲप मोफत आहे. त्यानंतर नोंदी जोडणे व बदलणे चालू ठेवण्यासाठी शेठजी प्रो (Google Play सबस्क्रिप्शन) लागते.
